Free From Food Awards London’s Kew Bridge Steam Museam

Highly commended at the FreeFrom Food Awards 2012

Joe and Amie from Pure Mesquite were again invited to attend the Free From Food Awards this year after being shortlisted in 2011. Organised by the good folks at Held in the monumental surroundings of the Kew Bridge Steam Museum, the awards event is well attended by a plethora of free from foodies and manufacturers, all enjoying the excellent gourmet nibbles, Prosecco and gluten free beers kindly provided for the guests.

We were delighted to meet many wonderful and interesting people including on of the hosts and regular free from fixture, celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson. Although in the end Pure Mesquite lost out to the highly deserving winner of the ingredients category (and overall winner) Dove’s Farm- Congratulations!! we had a great evening and would like to thank Michelle and Cressida from for putting on an evening to be proud of. We hope our involvement in the awards will help to get mesquite out there amongst the free-from community and bring the benefits of this fantastic product to people across the community.
